Options range from disabling networking entirely, to running an allowlist proxy (like Squid) that blocks DNS resolution inside the sandbox and forces all traffic through a domain-level allowlist, to dropping CAP_NET_RAW so the sandbox cannot bypass DNS with raw sockets.
tee() splits a stream into two branches. It seems straightforward, but the implementation requires buffering: if one branch is read faster than the other, the data must be held somewhere until the slower branch catches up.
